Object:To compare the cardiovascular effects, intubating conditions and CSI between priming group and 3 min intubation group after conventional induction of anesthesia. In this article,we want to verity priming vecuronium can be safely used to facililate rapid tracheal intubation.Method:Forty ASAⅠ~Ⅱpatients aged 20-40 yr weighing 40-80 kg scheduled for elective surgery under general anesthesia were randomly allocated into 2 groups(n=20 each),group A vecuronium primin(priming dose of vecuronium 0.02mg/kg,followed 1 min later by vecuronium 0.10mg/kg in induction of anesthesia);group B control(received a single dose of vecuronium 0.12mg/kg in induction of anesthesia). Both groups were induced with midazolam 0.05mg/kg,propofol 1.5mg/kg,sufentanil 0.45μg/kg.The patients who were intubated in Group A followed 1 min later by induction of anesthesia, and the patients who were intubated in Group B followed 3 min later by induction of anesthesia.Intubating conditiongs were graded according to the intubating conditiong grade.BP(MAP,SP,DP) and HR,SPO2,CSI were recorded during pre-anesthesia and induction of anesthesia.Asked the patients in group A if they had weakly respiration or other discomfortable feelings after injecting piming vecuronium.Statictical analysis:All measured and calculated data described were presented as mean values with standard deviations((?)±s).Software SPSS was applied for analyzing the data.Independent t tests for two independent samples were performed as appropriate to compare intergroup differences.A value of P<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. Results:There was no significant difference in cardiovascular, intubating conditions and CSI between group A and group B during pre-anesthesia and induction of anesthesia. The cerebral state indexes(CSI) of group A in T1,T2,T3 were among 40~60,and they had belonged to a suitable anesthetic depth monitoring. Conclusion:Priming dose of vecuronium 0.02mg/kg,cooperated with proper sedation and analgesia can reach a suitable anesthetic depth monitoring. This method can be safely used to facililate rapid tracheal intubation.
