Studies On The Chemical Constituents And Quality Of O.myriophylla (Pall.) DC.

O.myriophylla(Pall.) DC.is the drying whole grass of Oxytropis myriophylla (Pall.) DC.It has the efficiency of clearing heat,dry yellow water,wound healing, promoting granulation,join-pulse hemostasis,detumescence,soft stool,which were recorded in Chinese Materia Medica,Mongolian medicine Volume,mainly used at plague,inflammation,erysipelas,parotitis,measles,cervical strong,trauma cramps,trauma hemorrhage,menorrhagia,hematemesis,expectoration etc.O.myrio phylla(Pall.) DC.is a common medicine of mongolian medicine.Medicinal materia ls standard of inner mongolia determined O.myrioph ylla(Pall.) DC.and O.hirta Bunge were the certified products.Recently,the review about O.myriophylla(Pall.) DC.had been reported,but the research of its chemical constituents and macological toxicology had not yet been reported.Based on the previous research and referencees,the main task of the paper is focused on the isolation of chemical constituents,the test of acute toxicity, quantitative determination.The six compounds were isolated firstly,and the five compounds were identified as follows:3',7-Dihydroxy-2',4'-dimethoxyis of lavane. 2'-Hydroxy-4'-methoxy chalcone,5-Hydroxy- 7-methoxy flavanone.5-Hydroxy-7-methoxy flavonoid,Phenethyl cinnamide.According to the reports,Phenethyl cinnamide has the effections of anti-bac te rial and anti-inflammatory,for subsequent research of pharmacological of Pheneth yl cinnamide and its derivatives,and for provide plenty of reference for quality re search of Phenethyl cinnamide,this paper studied the process of synthesis of Phene thyl cinnamide.In order to preliminary establish the quality controlling method of O.myriop hylla(Pall.) DC.,compounds Phenethyl cinnamide and 2'-Hydroxy -4'-methoxy chalcone were selected as the content determination indexes by High Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC).The method was verificated and the contents wer e determinated as follows:Phnethyl cinnamide 0.13mg/g and 2' -hydroxy- 4' -met hoxy chalcone 1.24mg/g.It is reported that many of plants of Oxytropis have toxicity,in order to inves tigat whether O.myriophyl la(Pall.) DC.has toxicity,the maximum tolerance dose and acute toxicity of the extract of O.myriophyl la(Pall.) DC.were conducted,wi th the largest daily oradosage(173.40g/kg mice body weight,equivalent to 2000 ti mes the amount of adult),O.myriophyl la(Pall.) DC.show no obvious acute toxic effects,the result shows the multi-leaf O.myriophylla(Pall.) DC.oral safer.In this paper,the results of the chemical constituents,quality control and toxicity studies of O.myriophyl la(Pall.) DC.provide the basis for the standardiza tion and development of myriophyl la(Pall.) DC..
