Objective:Compare health index of the patients suffering from MDS and acute leukemia. To compare the detection index of TPO level to leukemia patients several subtypes before chems, bone marrow inhibitory stage and bone convalescence stage.Method:Determine the TPO level of patients with myeloid malignancy and normal controls by way of sandwich ELISA.Determine the TPO before the chemotherapy of MDS and acute leukemia,in marrow restraint period and marrow recovery period. At the same time, determine lactate dehydrogenase level of the patient;determine the TPO and lactate dehydrogenase of healthy controls. Results:Before therapy,TPO level of MDS and acute leukemia is significantly above the normal. The TPO of other patients of myeloid malignancies is above the normal level. After cure and palliation the TPO of MDS and acute leukemia is normal. The TPO of secondary thrombocytopenia relevant to other disease is normal. Before treatment the discrepancy of TPO between MDS and acute leukemia is significant(P<0.05),and after cure and palliation, the discrepancy of TPO between MDS and acute leukemia is insignificant. The discrepancy of TPO between secondary thrombocytopenia relevant to other disease and healthy controls is also insignificant.(P>0.05).Conclusions:TPO rises in patients of MDS and acute leukemia, but becomes normal after cure and palliation.TPO has no significant changes as to secondary thrombocytopenia relevant to other diseases.TPO and myeloid malignancy has positive correlation.TPO and curative effect has negative correlation.
