Objective:To observe the treated effect of simvastatin and losartan on the hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy, and to explore the reversal of left ventricular hypertrophy with sinus heart rate turbulence. Methods:Hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH) in 84 cases, were randomly divided into control group(n=22,treated with aspirin,β-blockers,calcium antagonists, and other basic treatment),the losartan group(n=30, plus losartan 100mg Qd),simvastatin and losartan combined group(n=32,plus simvastatin 20-40mg Qd and losartan 100mg Qd)。Each group has being treated for 12 months. The HRT parameters, indicators of cardiac ultrasound, blood pressure and cholesterol, and other changes were observed.Results:1.After treatment,TO values of two treatment groups decreased significantly than the control group(P<0.01),and the united group was superior to losartan group(P<0.05);The degree of increased TS values and decreased LVMI values of the two treatment groups, were more significant than those in the control group(P<0.01),compared to the united group losartan group was significantly (P<0.01);SBP,DBP reduction in the two treatment group were more significant than control group(P<0.01),the two treatment groups was not obviously different(P>0.05). 2.Losartan group compared before and after treatment,TO,LVMI,SBP,DBP decreased significantly,TS was significantly increased(both P<0.001),TS was basically back to normal.3.United group compared before and after treatment,TO, LVMI,SBP,DBP decreased significantly,TS increased significantly(both P<0.001); TC decreased but P<0.05.LVMI,TO were near the normal reference value,TS was basically back to normal.4.LVMI was negatively correlated with TO(r= -0.682,t= -5.104,P=0.000),LVMI was positively correlated with TS(r =0.7678,t =6.564,P =0.000).Conclusion:1.The patients with hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy had been significant autonomic nervous system injury.2.The combination of losartan and simvastatin can significantly reverse left ventricular hypertrophy and autonomic nerve dysfunction. Its effect is superior to using losartan alone, and basic treatment.3.LVMI values of the patients with hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy was significant correlated with TO\TS,suggested that myocardial remodeling associated with cardiac remodeling.4.The patients with hypertensive left ventricular hypertroph should be treated as soon as possible a joint approach, the rational use of drugs, with a view to achieve optimal results.
