Objective: To evaluate the impact of sperm morphology on the rates of fertilization,embryo cleavage,quality embryos and implantation.another aim of the study is to investigate the impact of perforatorium morphology on the rate of fertilization, embryo cleavage,quality embryos and implantation.To determine the realationship between sperm motility and morphology .Method: A total of 53 couples with no apparent female aetiology for infertility undergoing in-vtro fertilization。Use Diff-quick to stain the sperm,and use WHO strict criteria to evaluation sperm morphology. A comparison was made between the sperm morphology in two groups。Normal sperm morphology≥15% for group one,and normal sperm morphology <15% for group two. Each sperm smear 2 slide.Results:The rate of normal sperm morphology after density gradient centrifugation is higher than stock suspension(p<0.05).The fertility rate and implantation rate of normal sperm morphology group are higher than reratosperm group(p<0.05),but the embryo cleavage rate and quality embryo rate are no difference(p>0.05).Normal sperm morphology rate is correlated to the fertility rate and implantation rat(ep<0.05),but not correlated to the embryo cleavage rate and quality embryos rate(p>0.05).Head teratosperm rate is negative correlated to fertility rate(p<0.05),and not correlated to the embryo cleavage rate , quality embryos rate and implantation rate (p>0.05).The normal perforatorium morphology rate is correlated to fertility rate ,while not correlated to the embryo cleavage rate ,quality embryos rate and implantation rate (p>0.05).Normal sperm morphology rate is positive correlated to sperm motility rate,tail teratosperm rate is negative correlated to motility rate(p<0.05).And other part of teratosperm rates are not correlated to motility rate. Conclusions Density gradient centrifugation can improve the quality of sperm, especially the sperm morphology.sperm morphology can influence the rates of fertilization and implantation.But it can not influence the rates of embryo cleavage and quality embryos .Perforatorium morphology rate can influence the fertility rate,but can not influence the rates of the embryo cleavage , quality embryos and implantation .Normal sperm morphology and tail teratosperm are correlated to sperm motility.
