Study On Relationship Between Rein-Angiotensinaldosterone System(Raas) And Coronary Heart Disease

Objective: To investigate the correlation between the level of plasma angiotensin,aldosterone which are corrected from the aorta of patients and the degree of coronary artery .And approach the role of RAAS in the development of coronary atherosclerosis.Methods:88 subjects who underwent conronary angiography and calculated with Gensini score were divided into two groups acorrding to their coronary angiographic results:53 cases in the conronary artery stenosis group (CAS) and 35 cases in the control group(CG) which the percent of affection of any branch beyond 50%.CAS group was divided into single-vessel(n=18),double-vessel(n=23) and tripple-vessel group(n=12 ).The plasma example was collected form aorta by arteriongraphy duct. Radio-immunity was used to measure the level of plasma angiotensin and aldosterone. The level of AngII and ALD between CAS and CG were compared, the rlation between the level of AngII,ALD and the degree of coronary atherosclerosis were compared .Result : The level of Ang II and ALD in the CAS group(43.69±8.00pg/ml,93.39±14.18pg/ml)were significantly higher than in the CG group[30.59±4.02pg/ml,64.43±8.47pg/ml,(P<0.01)].The level of plasma AngII and ALD(pg/ml) among the lesions of 1,2,3vessels were 38.52±5.92,84.15±13.54; 43.92±6.13,95.03±11.38; 50.98±8.46,104.12±11.69.Respectively and significantly postive correction (P<0.05-0.01) was found among AngII and ALD in the 3 and 2,1 vessel groups,2 and 1 vessel group.Conclusion:The level of Ang II and ALD in the CAS group were significatly higher than in the CG group,the level of plasma AngII and ALD are postive correlation with the number of stenosed coronary vessel. RAAS acts as likely an important role in the process of coronary atherosclerosis.
