Research Of Building The Information Technology Support System For The Standardization Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

With the continuous rising tide of global information, advanced information technology represented by computer technology, dat abase technology, network technology and so on, is widely used in all walks of life. Some international organizations and deve loped countries in higher level of information, have establishe d fully functioning standard information network and work plat forms, which help them guarantee the implementation of the stan dardization development strategy effectively. It have an import ant impact not only on regulating the competitiveness order on the international market and improving the service and product quality ,but also on enhancing the advantage and role in the ec onomic and social developing world. Our government pays great a ttention on exerting the information technology on strategic su pporting role ,which greatly improve our national standardizati on development level by integrating the state standard informat ion resource and setting up the standard information service p1 atform and so on . The standardization of TCM can not grow well without the application of information technology. "Developme nt Plan of the Standardization of TCM from 2006 to 2010" says clearly that "relying on the existing information resources to intensify the information construction in the working, managing and servicing fields in the standardization of TCM" . Informat ion technical support system is a very important component in t he whole support system of the standardization of TCM, and it i s necessary to make further study about it. It will provide eff ective guidance to the construction of information in the stand ardization of TCM and avoid the fragmentation of information re sources, which may lead to forming "Information Islands" .Objective: The purpose of the present study is to design the information technical support system framework , to determine the systematic objectives and main functions of each component of the framework, and also to establish the basic principles and safeguard measures in the implementation of the support system. It will provide guidance and reference to the construction of information in the standardization of TCM.Methods: Firstly, deeply analyse every possible requirements for information technology in various aspects of the standardization development of TCM, such as professionals, agencies, funds, management system, operating mechanism, etc. Secondly, establish the guiding ideology and basic principles in the construction of the information technical support system. Thirdly, divide the information technical support system into several components in reason, and get the aim of each system and the main functions in each fragment, by classifying and aggregating the relevant requirements around the framework. Fourthly, establish the basic principles and safeguard measures in the implementation of the support system of standardization projects of TCM. Finally, design and achieve the information management system for standardization projects in TCM.Results: Firstly, There is a great need in many fields in the s tandardization of TCM, such as integration management, projects management, standards management, standardization information services, standardization work and so on. Secondly, the framework of the information technology support system in the standard of TCM consists of five sections, including the standardization information service system, online working platform for stand ardization in TCM, the information management system for standa rdization projects, monitoring system for the implementation of standards with feedback, technical specifications and information standards for the information technology support system. Thirdly, make the information management system for standardization projects achieved, which is designed following the basic principles of the information technical support system.Conclusion: the research of building the information technical support system has some obvious guiding significance for the construction of information in the standardization of TCM.
