Objective:Observation of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia clinical efficacy and adverse reactions, objective evaluation of its therapeutic efficacy and safety.Methods:60 cases of acute myeloid leukemia patients from the Division of Hematology,Chinese medicine hospital in Hubei Province in-patient departments, the use of retrospective methodology, were randomly divided into traditional Chinese and western medicine and western medicine treatment control group,30 cases of each group. Two groups of patients in age, sex, severity of illness and symptom score before treatment aspects of Chinese medicine was no significant difference(P>0.05),comparable.Western treatment of the control group:chemotherapy (remission induction program with DA,and strengthen programs to maintain the use of HA),and symptomatic supportive care such as blood transfusion,anti-infection or interleukin,etc.. Therapy in the treatment group based on Western medicine for the treatment of traditional Chinese medicine differentiation (in the intermittent phase of chemotherapy drug, the dialectic of prescriptions a day,two suits).OUTCOME MEASURES:Complete remission(CR),partial remission(PR),blood(WBC,Ret,HGB,PLT),bone marrow(bone marrow nucleated cells),the quality of life after chemotherapy (chemotherapy after the first week, second week, the first three weeks),symptoms of adverse reactions and changes in Chinese medicine.Stages of treatment, respectively,in the first week of testing 0,1,2,3,4 hemogram, liver function, electrocardiogram and assessment of TCM Syndrome. And chemotherapy after the end of each stage(for markedly effective and effective cases) for follow-up.The end of clinical observation, data processing(using statistical analysis software spss13.0.All the measurement data x are S disabilities that the test of significance using t tests, testing the use of count data u test and x2 test.P<0.05 will be that the tests were statistically significant differences),the completion of statistical analysis and summary of clinical studies, traditional Chinese and western medicine for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia to determine the clinical efficacy, and patient self-report or physician or by direct observation of the way of non-induced asked relating to adverse reactions in patients,as well as in the treatment of pre-and post-blood,bone marrow, urine routine, stool routine, liver and kidney function,ECG,to evaluate the safety.Results:1.The two groups of patients with clinical symptoms and signs can be effectively improved, and the treatment group in alleviating the symptoms and reduce the side effects of chemotherapy drugs is superior to the control group(P<0.05).2.The treatment group the incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower than the control group, there are the more obvious advantages, the two groups were significantly different(P<0.05).3.The treatment of two groups of patients before and after the WBC,HGB,Ret,PLT levels, treatment group hematopoietic recovery after chemotherapy is obviously better than the control group, compared the two groups before and after treatment have a very significant difference(P<0.01).4.QLQ-C30 based on the quality of life survey points table, the two groups to improve the overall quality of life, the treatment group to improve the quality of life is superior to the control group, compared the two groups before and after treatment have a very significant difference(P<0.01).5.The treatment group 25 cases of clinical complete remission, partial remission in 4 cases, total effective rate of 96.67%; control group,19 cases of clinical complete remission, partial remission in 6 cases, total effective rate of 83.33%.Efficacy of the treatment group than the control group, comparison between the two groups were significantly different(P<0.05), and the average time to obtain CR is superior to the control group. Conclusion:Traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of acute myeloid leukemia patients can increase the CR,PR,to shorten the average time to obtain CR to improve the patient's clinical symptoms, and in the fight against the adverse effects of chemotherapy have certain advantages, increased during chemotherapy in patients with quality of life, the promotion of the chemotherapy in patients with hematopoietic function. Chinese medicine has played in which the "attenuated synergistic" role.Clinical observation of no other more serious adverse reactions that combine Chinese and Western medicine treatment of acute myeloid leukemia is a more effective and safe treatment.
