Objective: Studied and summarized the characteristic symptom groups of the TCM Spleen diseases Syndromes.Methods: Non-conditional logistic multivariate regression was employed for preliminary screening the higher contribution degree symptom units. Frequency analysis was performed on the occurrence number of each symptom units, and selected symptom units appearing above inflection point. then obtained characteristic symptom groups based on analysis the two results.Results: Discovered seven common syndromes and their characteristic symptom groups, the results were as follows:⑴Spleen-Qi Deficiency Syndrome: loose stool, pale tongue, hematochezia, hypodynamia, abdominal distension, tympanites.⑵Spleen-Yang Deficiency Syndrome: loose stool, aversion to cold, pale tongue, edema, abdominal distension.⑶Spleen Deficiency with Dampness Encumbrance Syndrome: edema, loose stool, sticky greasy fur, leukorrhea much volume.⑷Spleen failing to control blood Syndrome: hematochezia, menostaxis, black stool, spot, hematemesis.⑸Sinking of Qi due to Spleen Deficiency Syndrome: pale tongue, loose stool, tenesmus.⑹Spleen-Yin Deficiency Syndrome: dry mouth, rapid digestion of food and polyorexia.⑺Cold-dampness disturbing Spleen Syndrome: loose stool, slippery fur.Conclusions:⑴Loose stool were associated intimately with TCM Spleen diseases Syndromes.⑵Deficiency Syndrome was the common Syndrome of TCM Spleen diseases.⑶Spleen Deficiency Syndrome means Spleen-Qi Deficiency Syndrome or Spleen-Yang Deficiency Syndrome, but not Spleen-Yin Deficiency Syndrome.
