Study On Duplicating Varicocele Testicular And Epididymis Damage In Rat Model

Objective: Duplicating varicocele epididymis testicular damage in rat model and lay the basis for experimental research of drug intervention the next step. Methods: Wistar male rats puberty 48, were randomly divided into two groups: 36 operated group, 12 sham-operated group. Part of operation caused by ligation of left renal vein Act spermatic vein model, sham-operated group exposed to the same process of left renal vein, but not ligation. Eight weeks after the observation of two groups of testicular weight and testis and epididymis microscope morphological changes. Results: Eight weeks after the model, the weight of rat testis and the right side of the left side of the model group, model group and control group on both sides of the left side were significantly different (P <0.05). At the same time, under the model group, the testis and epididymis both have significant pathological damage, the left obviously. Conclusion: The left varicocele testis weight in rats significantly smaller, both testis and epididymis have serious pathological changes that varicocele epididymis testicular damage in rat model of successful reproduction.
