Objective:This paper deals with systematic quality evaluation of the proanthocyanins from Rosa rugosa in Shandong province.This paper sets up a simple and practical extraction and separation processes,carries on the content determination to its proanthocyanidins,works out its controlled quality standards.Methods:In the experiment,ethanol was used as solution to extract proanthocyanidins from Rosa rugosa and some factors,including extracting temperature,the ratio between the extracting solution and the material,the concentration of ethanol,extracting time;Selection of AB-8 macroporous resin of Rosa rugosa crude extracts were purified by the static anddynamic adsorption/desorption experiments to study the effects of purified proanthocyanidin;The proanthocyanins B2 was used to be annalysed from 11 varieties of Rosa rugosa in Shandong Province by HPLC method.Results:The best extracting conditions is:extracting temperature of 30℃,the ratio between the extracting solution and the material:40:1,the concentration of ethanol:60%,extracting time:10min; pH4 with 3 BV 40% ethanol to 1mL?min-1 flow rate of elution get better purified Rosa rugosa Proanthocyanidin;The result of HPLC shows that extract proanthoc-yanidins from Rosa rugosa has the proanthocyanidins B2,that Fenghua Rosa rugosa is the highest abundance,and Zizhi Rosa rugosa is the lowest.Conclusion: We lay a experimental evidence on comprehensive utilization of Rosa rugosa and the development of new drug formulations containing Rosa rugosa and other scientific theories.
