Objective To assess the association of resistance index(RI),pulsatility index(PI) of interlobar artery with cystatin C(SCys C) in relative kidney transplantation(KT).Methods Color Doppler ultrosonographic findings and kidney function parameters in 60 relative kidney transplanted recipient and donors were evaluated. Color Doppler ultrosonography was performed on the donor kidney at 1 week before and on the transplanted kidney at 1 week,lmonth,3 month and 6 months after kidney transplantation. In the same time, serum cystatinC(SCys C) and serum creatinine(Scr) were measured, espectively. Results One week after surgery,ScysC and Scr were significantly higher in transplanted kidney than that in the donor kidney(P<0.01),in the six month after surgery,ScysC and Scr were decreased with recovery of kidney function, but higher than that in the donor kidney. One month after surgery,RI,PI,ScysC and Scr increased in transplanted kidney(P<0.05).and there was significant correlation between RI and PI of interlobar artery and SCys C.RI,PI of interlobar artery correlated with Scr,the correlations of RI,PI with SCys C was better than the correlations of RI and PI with Scr(P<0.05).Conclusions The correlation of RI and PI with Cyst C is better than that of RI and PI with Scr.,RI and PI of interlobar artery are good markers for early time detecting the renal function.
