Nowadays, the development and production of optically pure drugs is the trend of new drugs research, therefore the study on chiral drugs analysis has become more and more important and it has become a hot topic in analytical science.Capillary electrophoresis(CE) is a versatile analytical technique which is successfully used for the separation of chiral drugs and has developed to be one of the most commonly separation techniques. As a sensitive and selective detection method,tris-(2,2'-bipyridyl)-ruthenium(Ⅱ)(Ru(bpy)32+) electrochemiluminescene(ECL) detection is coupled with CE in order to improve the sensitivity in chiral CE.This dissertation consists of three chapters.Chapter 1 reports the achievements of chiral separation by CE in details.Chapter 2 developes a sensitive detection method by coupling CE with electrochemiluminescene detection(CE-ECL),which is used for the separation and determination of dioxopromethazine hydrochloride(DPZ) enantiomers. The enantiomers are completely separated under the optimum condition:16.5 mMβ-CD in 25 mM Tris-H3PO4-40 mM H3BO3 buffer solution at pH 2.5.An improved separation of DPZ enantiomers could be achieved after adding borate acid(H3BO3) in buffer. Chapter 3 examines the separation and determination of DPZ enantiomers in human urine by the CE-ECL method with a liquid-liquid extraction procedure, and satisfactory results are obtained.
