The Clinical Observation In Treating HyPerPlasia Of Mammary Glands Of Stagnation Of Liver-qi Type By Point Appliection Theropy

Background:Hyperplasia of mammary glands,which is belongs to the"rupi"areas in TCM.This is one of the diseases high happening among women which is in childbearing age.The clinic symptoms includ pain or tumour in mammary glands. The incidence of this disease in our country showed an upward trend year after year.With the TCM meridian acupoints treatment mechanism and the deepening of the study drug percutaneous absorption of the continuous development of technology,Point Application therapy in the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary glands have broad application prospects.Objective:to observe the curative effect of point application in Hyperplasia of Mammary Glands,and detect blood estradiol(E₂),progesterone(P) in luteal phase before and after treatment,and to discuss the possible functional mechanism of it.Methods:60 patients from the acupuncture and the mammary glands outpatient department in the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine were selected according to strict diagnosis criterion,divided to the treat group of 30 cases and the control group of 30 cases.The treatment of the Point Application group is to rub the cream on points of Qimen(LR 14), Taichong(LR 3),and A-shi points on the breast for twice a day,add sanyinjiao(SP 6)after the period,and paused in the menstrual period.Control group:took Rupixiao 5 tablets every time,2 times per day,paused in the menstrual period. We detected blood estradiol benzoates(E₂),progesterone(P) in luteal phase before and after treatment.Record the data from the two groups;establish the database,analyze them by SPSS I3.0 software package.Results:The total effective rate of treat group was 73.33%,the total effective rate of control group was 66.67%,efficacy of the two groups statistically no significant difference(P＞0.05).The study showed that the sore of the breast and lump were both alleviated significantly after treatment in two groups(P＜0.05).The data between before and after treatment has significance,but the same between the two groups has no statistical significance.The levels of E2 of both groups are decreased while the levels of P are increased(P＜0.05) after treatment.The data between before and after treatment has signifieanee,but the same between the twogroups has nostatistical significance.Conclusions:Point Application is an effective method to treat Hyperplasia of Mammary Glands,especially to alleviate the pain.Also,this therapy could modulate disordered secretive function of hypothalamic-pituitary-ovrian axis of the patients undergoing Hyperplasia of Mammary Glands and restore Mammary Glands to normally proliferate and renew.The method is simple, better compliance,drug side effects and is expected to have broad clinical applications.
