Objective:The level of hs-CRP and D-Dimer were detected in blood with acute cerebral infarctions in this study.Analyze the leleves of hs-CRP and DD in acute cerebral infarction patients with the relationship of the arteriosclerosis finding as well as the instability of plaqlues in carotid arteries through ultrasonography thchnique. Evaluate the probable correlation factor with the vulnerable plaque.Method:This is a prospective, nonrandomized, open trial in single center. The standard of diagnoses accorded with the one which was constituted at the fourth cerebral vascular diseases conference of the Chinese Medical Association in 1995 and was approved by CT or MRI excluded hemorrhage.Besides, the age was 38 to 80 and the time since onset was within 48 hours. The cases of control group were helthy examination people. The carotid arteries was examined and the lever of hs-CRP and DD were detected within the first 3 days;we classified acute cerebral infarction into different etiologlcal types by using the TOAST.Results:A total of 100 cases were enrolled into this trial from September 2007 to September 2008,60 cases in the infarction group and 40 cases in the control group. The basic characteristics showed no significant difference.1.The levels of hs-CRP and DD with acute cerebral infarctions were obviously higher than the healthy group.2.The hs-CRP and DD levels in the TOAST subgroup patients with acute cerebral infarctions have no obvious difference.3.The level of hs-CRP has positive correlation with the instability of the bilateral carotid arteries plaques.4.The level of DD has no significant correlation with the instability of the plaques.5.The level of hs-CRP has no obvious relevance with the level of DD in the acute cerebral infarction group.Conclusion:1.The level of hs-CRP may reflect the instability of the plaques in the carotid arteries with acute cerebral infarctions while the level of DD has no significant correlation with it and needs further large sample research. 2.The increace levels of hs-CRP and DD may imply their role in the acute process of inflammatory responses and the exist of abnormal of the coagulation-fibrinolysis system.3.The level of hs-CRP and DD has no obvious difference and correlation in the TOAST subtypes and needs futrher large sample research.
