Purpose : to investigate the level of serum Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP)andrenin- angiotensin–aldosterone system,(RAAS)following the change of cardiac function in in Patients with Diastolic Heart Failure (DHF),and study the correlation between the level of BNP RAASand LVMI,to obverse if BNP RAAS take part in the myocardial remodeling in in Patients with Diastolic Heart FailureMethod:UCGwas perfomed in following of patient 1.32ADD patients with hypertensive diseases and normal EF but without symptoms of heart failure ,fit the diagnosetic criteria of diastolic dysfunction 2.32DHF patient who has got heart failure with normal EF and fit the diagnosetic criteria of diastolic dysfunction.3.20senile healthy volunteers were selected as normal control . The therr groups were examined by echocardiography .Blood samples of these patients were obtain within 12 hours after the echocardiography exam .BNP were tested by euzymelinked immunosorbent assay,and RAAS were tested by radioimmunology.Date were analyzed with a statistic software program (SPSS version 12.0 for windows)Result: 1.Comparaed with the controlls ,the ADD and DHF patents present sigmificant ventricular dilatation and overt atrial enlargenment with evident hypertrophy.2. Comparaed with the controlls the serum level of BNPand RAAS were increased in ADD and DHF patients ,The serum level of BNPand RAASwere higther inADD patients than that of in the DHF patient .3.0. LVMIand LVEDD was significantly correlated with the development of Diastolic Dysfunction as well as the level of the BNP RAAS 4.0 LVMI and LVEDDwas significantly correlated with the the level of BNP and RAAS in ADDand DHFpatient.Conclusion :1. Comparaed with the controls,the level of BNPand RAAS in ADD and DHF patents present sigmificant increased , the level of BNPand RAASwere increased following the development of Diastolic Dysfunction .2BNPand RAAS could predict the severety of DHF 3.BNP and RAAS paeticipate the remoding of ventricle.
