Part 1 Correlation between NOD2/CARD15 gene polymorphisms and inflammatory bowel diseaseObjective:The first discovered predisposing gene of CD is NOD2/CARD15 gene.It has been confirmed that three single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) of NOD2/CARD 15 gene is significantly corelated with the west white people.However,it hasn't been confirmed neither in Japan nor Hong Kong crowd.The objective of this study is to investigate three single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of NOD2/CARD15 gene in in flammatory bowel disease(IBD) in Chinese Han patients of Zhejiang Province.Methods:The polymorphisms of NOD2/CARD15 gene Arg702Trp,Gly908Arg and Leul007fsinsC were genotyped in 60 patients with IBD and 100 healthy controls by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism.Results:None of the patients with IBD and healthy controls had heterozygous or homozygous SNPs variants.Conclusion:The common variants in NOD2/CARD15 gene found in Caucasians with Crohn's disease are not associated with IBD in Chinese Han patients of Zhejiang Province. Objective:Pathogenesy of inflammatory bowel disease is unclear.It is considered to be the interaction of multiple factors,including environment,heredity,infextation and immunization. With democratic life westernizing,environmental factors are being paid much more attantion.The objective of this study is to screen the risk factors of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) by case investigation in coastal areas in zhejiang provinceMethods:86 determined IBD patients and 86 paired healthy subjects were surveyed with an organized inventory comprising of 20 relevant items to IBD,sush as age,sex,income,time limit of smoking,milk uptaking,fried food and alcohol uptaking.COX regression method Was used to screen the statistically significant risk factors for IBD.Results:COXregression indicated the statistical significance in stress,milk and fried food over the other postulated risk factors for IBD.Conclusion:Stress,milk and fried food are the potential risk factors for IBD.
