Clinical Study Of XiaoShuan Enteric-coated Capsules In 40 Patients On The Stage Of Acute Ischemic Stroke With Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis

Objective:To study the safety and clinical effectiveness on the theorapy of using Xiaoshuan Enteric-coated Capsules to the acute ischemic stroke(acute phase,72hours) patients with Qi-deficiency and blood stasis syndrome;to find a new method to cure acute ischemic stroke;trench the advantage of traditional Chinese medicine and offer much more clinical evidence for the Chinese medicine treatment for acute ischemic stroke.Methods:40 patients who had stroken within 72 hours were randomly divided into 2 groups,both group were given the western medicine openly,but the treatment group also with XSEC while the control group with the placebo at the same time.The two groups were observed with clinical symptoms and signs,laboratory indicators (blood,urine,and stool occult,liver function,kidney function,blood coagulation,and so on) and changes in NIHSS,TCM syndrom score and record the occurrence of adverse reactions.Results:At the end of this study we had gather a total of 40 effective cases,20 cases in the experimental group and 20 cases in the control group,despite of the differences in gender,age,condition, location and complications infarct between the two groups,the neurological deficit score has been declined in the test group was more than that has been decreased in the control group,and the difference was significant.(P＜0.05);TCM symptom score has been dropped both in two groups compared to pre-therapy,however,it's more illustrious in the treatment group than in the control group. There is conspicious discrepancy between the two groups (P＜0.05);pilot clinical total effective rate was 75.00%in the experimental group while only 40.00%in the control group,and the divergence was outstanding(P＜0.05);In addition,no related adverse reactions has been discovered in both two groups.Conclusion:Xiaoshuan enteric-coated capsules with opened Western medicine treatment has the exact efficiancy to the patients with acute ischemic stroke by reducing the acute stage of cerebral infarction, accelerating the recovery of limb function in patients,and the pilot without any specific aderverse effects but good security is worthy to be popularized.
