Clinical Observation On GAD Treated By Tuina Therapy Of Soothing Liver And Invigorating Spleen

Purpose:To evaluate the therapeutic effect to Generalized Anxiety Disorder(GAD) by Tuina Therapy of Soothing Liver and Invigorating Spleen.Method:68 cases with GAD patients were randomly divided into two groups:the tuina group(n=35) and the medicine group(n=33).Three courses were observed and each course is 10 days.HAMA,the scale of TCM symptoms,TESS and CGI were applied to measure the treatment effect.Result:The total effective rate is 93.94% in the tuina group,while 73.33% in the medicine group,and there is a significant difference between two groups (P<0.05).The tuina group's improvement of the somatic symptoms of TCM are better than the medicine group(P<0.01).The tuina group has no side effect.GI and EI of the tuina group are significantly higher than the medicine group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Tuina Therapy has curative effete,without side effect,and lower recurernce rate for GAD,and being easy to be accepted by patients,it is worth advocating to be applied.
