The Research Of Curative Effect And Mechanism On Rat Models Of Insulin Resistance Of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus By Jiaji Acupoints

Objective: To study curative effect and Mechanism on Experimental Rat Models of Insulin Resistance of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus by JiaJi acupoints.Method: 40 Wistar male rats were divided four groups: the normal controls(NC)without treatment,The IR rats without treatment(I), the prevented group(P), and the IR rats with acupuncture-treatment(A).The experimental study firstly duplicated model rats of insulin resistance of type twodiabetes mellitus successfully, which were raised on a high caloric die and induced by alloxa with intraperitoneal injection. The P group were administrated acupuncture per day from beginning of fed high-fat for 6 weeks and A group were administrated acupuncture per day after 10 days fed high-fat chcw for 4 weeks. After the experiment finished, the blood samples were collected to evaluate Fasting Blood Glucose(FBG), Fasting Plasma insulin (FINS), the insulin Sensitivity index(ISI) to observe the application of Acupuncture. SPSS13.0 statistical analysis software is taken use of dealing with data. Analysis of variance indicate difference between two groups.Interclass is use of analysis of variance T test.Results: After rase the experimental sucrose diet for 10 days, the FBG, FINS and insulin C-peptide(FINS/C-p) Were higher than that normal rats(P<0.01) and the ISI was lower than that normal rats(P<0.01).This indicated that the experimental rats had become resistant to insulin, After the application of Acupuncture for 4 weeks, the FBG, FINS and C-peptide(INS/C-p) levels diminished significantly. The ISI also clearly improved which proved that Acupuncture could improve the state of IR in experimental rats.Conclusions: (1 )Acupuncture Can regulate FBG, FINS, ISI and improve IR.(2) There is a satisfactorily clinical effection for IR through acupuncturing at JiaJi acupoints earlierly.
