Objective: Clinical study on the effects of coarse grain food on the insulin resistance indexs, such as metabolism of glucose, lipids, insulin sensitivity index of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.Method:80 patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus who have been given nutrition education on diabetes mellitus were divided into two groups:group A and group B. The method of two-stage intersection was used and low GI, low II mixed coarse grain food were used in the experiment. In the experiment group, everyone ate 30g coarse grain food of mixed low GI and low II every day, while in the control group, everyone ate 30g of finemeal every day. Observe the two groups of patients. Find the differences of the indexs of fasting blood glucos(eFBG),post blood glucose(PBG),fructoxumine(FMN),FINS,TC,TG,ISI,and body mass index(BMI)both before and after the experiment.Results:1. Compared with diabetes control group,FBG,PBG ,FMN were significantly lower in coarse food grain intervention group of clinic patients.(P<0.05)2. Compared with diabetes control group,TC,TG were significantly lower in coarse food grain intervention group of clinic patients.(P<0.05)3. Compared with diabetes control group, FINS was significantly lower in coarse food grain intervention group of clinic patients.(P<0.05),the coarse grain food can improve the ISI of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients significantly. (P<0.05)Conclusion: The coarse grain food of mixed low GI and low II is effective in improving IR of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.
