Part 1:The experimental research of Hyperbaric oxygen,s effevtiveness on rats after spinal cord injury of lipid oxidation and functional recoveryPurpose To investgate the effects of Hyperbaric oxygen(HBO) on rats after spinal cord injury (SCI) by oxygen free radicals cause oxidation of lipid oxidation and functional recoveryMethods 30 Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into A,B,C three groups, A group exposes the spinal cord by the posterior lamectomy, B group and C group expose spinal cord by the posterior lamectomy all the same ,make rat SCI model with the modified Allen, B group without any treatment. C Group conducted HBO treatment in eight hours , treatment time for each 100min every day, for 5 consecutive days; in after the second day, fifth day, to detect superoxide dismutase ( SOD) and lipid peroxidation product Malondialdehyde(MDA)in serum which get by duanwei from the groups; after the first 10 days and 20 days of the to carry out acts of rats BBB score and inclined plane experiments; rats were killed after 20 days, and make the spinal cord injury pathologically HE staining for morphological observation of the spinal cord.Results Group B compared with C group, C group SOD increased (P <0.05), MDA lower (P <0.05), compared with A group of SOD and MDA did not change significantly, the difference is not statistically significant (P> 0.05); B group and C group in the BBB score percentile and experimental point of view, ramps significant difference (P <0.05); light microscope to observe the group of spinal cord injury Agency, a significant difference. Conclusion HBO has antioxidant and free radical scavenging capabilities of SCI to effectively control the damage caused by the lipid peroxidation reaction, thereby reducing the resultant secondary injury and play a protective role on the SCI, SCI promote the recovery of neurological function.Part 2:Clinical effects of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on actual spinal cord injuryPurpose To investgate the the exact effect of hyperbaric oxygen on patients with acute spinal cord injury and the effectiveness of HBO therapy incomplete spinal cord injuryMethods 31 cases of acute incomplete spinal cord injury patients, respectively, after 5 days - 10 days of hyperbaric oxygen therapy started, the treatment of the three treatment; once a day for each 90-min treatment time, 10 days for a course of treatment, Interval two days between two courses of treatment .hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the course of treatment before , Frankel grade and ASIA score are conduted, in order to raise the level Frankel classification is validResults After three courses of hyperbaric oxygen treatment, 93.5% of patients improve the level Frankel classification. ASIA score on the hyperbaric oxygen therapy before and after there was a marked difference..Conclusion HBO can significantly promote the effects of SCI patients.
