Correlation Between Allergic Factors And Chronic Rhinosinusitis

Objective: to investigate the effects of allergic factors in chronic rhinosinusitis through to compare to ananlyze the allergenic detection of normal control and experiment group with chronic rhinosinusitis.Method:skin prick test and specific serum IgE of 194 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis were performed in our department before endoscopic sinus surgery from Octember, 2007 to Octember, 2008, and correlation with clinical classification was analyzed retrospectively.all are ananlyzed with statistics ananlysis by SPSS13.0 statistics software.Result :1),the 194 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis were completed by specific serum IgE ,it was distributed in Jiangxi provence territory. positive rates of house dust was 20.6%(40 case) ,of dust mites:15.5%(30 case),of house dust mites 14.9%(29 case) ,of component of mould:2.6%(5 case) ,of common ragweed:1.5%(3 case) ,of poplar:1.0%(2 case) ,of mugwort:1.0%(2 case) ,of component of endepider mis:1.0%(2case).2),positive rates of allergic skin prick test about experiment group compared with control group, dust mites:χ2=4.917,ν=1, P =0.031; house dust mites:χ2=6.462,ν=1, P =0.038,house dust mites and dust mites were statistical significance with p<0.05 by pearson chi-square.3),positive rates of allergic specific serum IgE and allergic total serum IgE about experiment group compared with control group , dust mites:χ2=4.654,ν=1,P =0.031; house dust mites:χ2 =4.308,ν=1, P =0.038;house dus :χ2=6.307,ν=1,P =0.012,house dust mites,dust mites and house dust were statistical significance with p<0.05 by pearson chi-square.4),The positive rates of the specific serum IgE correlation with the positive rates of skin prick test about experiment group of 194 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis. the Correlations of Spearman with identical allergen: 1) house dust mites, r1p=0.432,P1=0.000; 2) dust mites:r1p=0.371,P1=0.000, it was significantly correlated, reaching statistical significance with p<0.01 by the Correlations of Spearman. 5),clinical classification of chronic rhinosinusitis correlation with the specific serum IgE about experiment group: 1)house dust ,χ2=6.391,p=0.041,r=-0.179; 2) house dust mites,χ2=6.825, p=0.033,r=-0.184,it was significantly negative correlated, reaching statistical significance with p < 0.05 by pearson chi-square and the Correlations of Spearman.Conclusions:Allergic factors was concered with chronic rhinosinusitis and clinical classification of chronic rhinosinusitis.it was distributed in Jiangxi provence territory that main allergy is house dust,dust mites and house dust mites.it is significantly correlated about skin prick test and specific serum IgE .
