The Research Of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder And Influencing Factors Among Work Injured Patients During Hospital In Hunan

Objective:To know the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD) symptoms and Influencing Factors of the work injured patients during hospital for the purpose of put forward proposals for their psychological rehabilitation.Method:170 work injury patients who were willing to accept the survey in 12 hospitals of Hunan province received the questionnaires individually,in which 158 were available;General condition survey, PTSD symptom rating scale and Beck Depression Inventory were used in the survey.Result:There were 146 male and 12 female in 158 work injured patients, the average age was 42.00±7.42.63.9%patients were injured in 3 months and 56.3%patients' hospital time were less than 1 month at the moment of survey.It was found that 62.0%patients had injured their four limbs of the body,15.2%had multiple injuries.105 patients had functional damages.72.8%had the limitation of self-care ability.The positive rating of PTSD symptoms was 25.3%.The differences of PTSD scores among five injury groups were significant(F=15.594,P＜0.01),the multiple injury group had the highest score.The differences of PTSD scores among four self-care ability groups were significant(F=4.367,P＜0.05). The time after injury,having or not functional damage,social supports and negative life events after injury were the predictors of PTSD scores(F=20.694,P＜0.001,R²_ad=0.334).The positive rating of depression symptoms was 70.3%.35.9%patients presented low motivation of returning to work after hospital and 64.1%had high motivation and attempts of suicide in 39 patients who had PTSD and depression.Conclusion:PTSD symptoms are common in work injured patients during hospital.The compensate and time after injury,having or not functional damage,injury position,self-care ability,social supports and negative life events influence PTSD symptoms.PTSD and depression symptoms influence suicide idea and working willing after hospital.
