The Changes Of Serum IL-2, IFN-γ And TNF-α In Patients With Chronic Aplastic Anemia Treated By Xuefusheng

Chronic Aplastic Anemia(CAA) is a group of pancytopenic syndrome by many different reasons.The major clinical manifestations are anemia,hemorrhage,fever.It can be classed into acute aplastic anemia and chronic aplastic anemia.The traditional Chinese medicine combination with western medicine acquired preferable effect in CAA.Xuefusheng is a complex of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) which be created by the Hematologists of the department of Hematology,Jiangsu province TCM hospital. It mainly based on the TCM theories of YiShenTianJing and BuSuiShengXue.It primary contains LuJiao,HuangQi,DangGui,NvZhenZi,HanLianCao,ZiHeChe. Its efficiency rate was about 81.4%.We try to detect the changes of serum IL-2,IFN-γand TNF-αin the CAA patients who treated with or without XueFuSheng.Objective:To detect the changes of serum IL-2,IFN-γand TNF-αin patients with chronic aplastic anemia before and after the treatment by Xuefusheng,and try to probe into the influence of Xuefusheng on serum IL-2,IFN-γand TNF-αin CAA patients.Methods:Sixty patients with chronic aplastic anemia were divided into Xuefusheng, Xuefusheng and western medicine,western medicine three groups on the average,use ELISA to detect the levels of serum IL-2,IFN-γand TNF-αbefore and after the treatment.Results:1.The levels of IL-2,IFN-γand TNF-αin Serum:Xuefusheng and western medicine＞western medicine＞Xuefusheng.2.The serum levels of IL-2 in the groups of Xuefusheng,Xuefusheng and western medicine,western medicine are respectively 175.65±145.19,178.68±136.84,165.69±145.59 before treatments,and 165.76±140.16,155.76±127.89,153.94±126.50 after treatments;IFN-γare 162.12±152.03,160.58±126.10,173.54±142.64 before treatments,and 153.54±147.98, 135.77±117.40,159.25±126.40 after treatments;TNF-αare 73.65±60.91,81.54±61.15, 89.51±53.72 before treatments,and 73.65±60.91,69.55±54.39,81.71±49.55 after treatments.The statistics difference is remarkable(P＜0.01).Conclusion:The serum levels of IL-2,IFN-γand TNF-αall declined in three groups; the curative effect of Xuefusheng and western medicine are better than western medicine or Xuefusheng alone.
