| Background: The morbidity of diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract has increased for years,and the same with the digestive tract carcinoma. It is important that inchoate patients should be diagnosed and treated appropriately,while Gastroscope is the major means to accomplish it. Patients often suffer a lot from the mechanistic and psychological stress while taking this examination. Whether preventing and curing the side effect or not is critical for patients to accomplish this gastroscope.It is common that larynx anesthesia,intravenous anesthesia and the drugs which could attain conscious-sedational and anticonvulsive effect have been applied to the patients who will take the gastroscope in the modern medical field. However,larynx anesthesia also makes patients fulfill the swallowing act,and with no effect to ameliorate the intensive gastric peristalsis. Intravenous anesthesia is also along with the allergic shock,respiratory depression while the drugs with the high risk of acquiring or deteriorating the prostate disease and glaucomatous. All the means relieving the sufferings of patients could lead to bad result as well. It is imperative for us to seek a new method used before the gastroscopic examination to palliate the patient in the exam.It is found that ,pressing ear acupoint of Shenmen,Sympathesis,Subcortex and so on ,can relieve the patient' s feelings of fear and anxiety,and they will combinate with the check preferably. This clinical observation gives the clinical evaluation on the roles of pressing the ear acupoint ,with a scientific clinical research method and objective evaluation criteria.Objective: To evaluate the effect and safety of anesthesia when before and undergoing gastroscopy,and for improving the manipulation,eliminating patient's sufferings,increasing the ratio of the diagnosis and treatment to the inchoate patients.Methods: 80 patients are distributed into two groups randomly,the ear pressed group and the control group.Each one is given the Lidocaine plasmagel to get the larynx superficial anesthesia and the foam-removing in the stomach. The ear pressed group is pressed seeds on ear acupoint,while the patients in control group are not pressed.The both groups take the gastroscopic exam subsequently. All the physicians taking part in this clinical observation should be skilled in the gastroscope. The index includes the general information of the subjects, such as gender,age,pharyngitis or not,and the VAS scores, .investigation of the willing of such check next time.Result: All the subjects have accomplish the exam. We find that the VAS scores has the significant difference between with the ear preesed group and the control group,(P<0.05),the patients of the ear preesed group's willing of such check next time is more than the control group,(P<0.05).Conclusion: Pressing the ear acupoint has the effect which can improve the patients' tolerance. And it is more secure than others. |
