| Objective:1.To observe the relationships between the serum concentration of matrix metallo--proteinases-9(MMP-9) and New York Heart Association(NYHA) Classification, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-systolic dimension(LVESD), left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),and investigate the value of MMP-9 in the evaluation of cardiac function.2.Compare the differences between therapeutic effects of regular western medicine and therapeutic effects of traditional Chinese Medicine plus western medicine;to explore serum concentration of matrix metalloproteinases-9 affected by Kangdaxin and the therapeutic mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine treated the CHF.Methods:1.71 subjects were selected,including 51 patients with chronic heart failure(CHF) and 20 healthy peoples.51 patients with chronic heart failure were divided by the golden standard for heart failure.Patients with CHF(NYHAⅡ~Ⅳ)were randomly divided into western medicine group and traditional Chinese medicine plus western medicine group,The serum concentration of MMP-9 was determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).LVEF,LVESD and LVEDD were measured by color Doppler ultrasound instrument.2.Western medicine group and traditional Chinese medicine plus western medicine group respectively was treated by western medicine and Kangdaxin plus western medicine.Pre-treatment and treatment 15 days later to measure the serum concentration of MMP-9,LVEF,LVESD,LVEDD and security target.Results:1.The mean serum concentration of MMP-9 was significantly higher in CHF patients than that of healthy peoples[(259.92±79.98)pg/ml vs(77.95±10.40)pg/ml,P<0.01].2.The serum concentrations of MMP-9 showed positive correlation with NYHA classification (r=-0.866,P<0.01),negative correlation with LVEF(r=-0.752,P<0.01),positive correlation with LVESD(r=-0.812,P<0.01) and positive correlation with LVEDD(r=-0.732,P<0.01).3. The serum concentrations of MMP-9 in therapeutic groups significantly decreased after therapy and the concentrations of MMP-9 in traditional Chinese medicine plus western medicine group was lower than western medicine group[(216.92±71.56)pg/ml vs (182.35±46.51)pg/ml,P<0.05];The LVEF and cardiac function in CHF patients significantly improved after therapy(P<0.05).4.The therapeutic effects of traditional Chinese medicine plus western medicine group was better than that of the western medicine group(92.31%vs 84.00%,P<0.05). Conclusions:1.The serum concentrations of MMP-9 were significantly higher in CHF patients,CHF patients of different cardiac function level was a significant difference.2.There was the good correlation between the serum concentrations of MMP-9 and LVEF,the LVEF was significantly decreased and the level of MMP-9 was increased with the degree of increase in heart failure.3.Compared the western medicine group,the traditional Chinese plus western medicine group was lower in the serum concentrations of MMP-9 and obviously improved target of the ultrasonic testing after treatment.4.The traditional Chinese plus western medicine group can significantly reduce the serum concentration of MMP-9,and to improve cardiac function,its comprehensive treatment was more effective than conventional western medicine,it is worth further study. |
