Cynoglossum amabile Stapf et Drumm is a traditional herb in china which belong to family Cynoglossum(Boraginaceae) and widely distributed in Xin Jiang, Gui Zhou, Guang Dong, Guang Xi, Yun Nan, et al. It is described as cool-natured,bitter in taste and has functions of clearing away heat evil and promoting diuresis, eliminating stasis to activate blood circulation hematischesis and analgesia, et al and is used as an anti-inflammatory, antihepatitis, anticystitis agent in Chinese folk medicine. It is very important and instructive to study the chemical constitents systematically and establish the quality standard of active components .In this thesis, a systematical investigation of the chemical constituents from the the herbs of Cynoglossum amabile Stapf et Drumm was carried out and 10 compounds were separated by using open-column, gel chromatography ,preparative TLC methods and recrystallisation et al. Theirs structures were elucidated by means of IR, MS, NMR and chemical methods respectively. They were elucidated as Stigmasterol(1), Octacosanoic acid(2),β-sitosterol(3), Daucosterol(4), O-Hydroxybenzoic acid(5), 3,4-Dihydroxybenzoic acid(6), 2α,3β-dihydroxyolean-12-en-23,28,30-trioic acid(7), 2α,3β,19α,23-tetrahydroxy olean-12-en-28-oic acid(8), 21-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl- 2α,3β,21β,23-tetrahydroxyolean-12- en-28-oic acid(9) and (2S,2'R,3S,4R,12E)-N-(2'-hydroxytetracosanoyl)-2-amino-octadec- 12-ene-1,3,4,-triol(benjaminamide, 10) Compound 7 was a new cmpound, named as amabilic acid, and compounds 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 were obtained from this genus for the first time. The bioactivities of compound 7 of anti-inflammatory and antitumor were carried out, the result indicated that amabilic acid had an obvious effect of anti-inflammatory activity.
