Objective: To investigate the 1-year,2-year,3-year overall survival rate after synthetic therapy in 102 patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC) by follow-up clinical study and to summary the impact of clinical-pathological factors on therapeutic effect and prognosis of patient. Methods: Analysis the case history and follow-up date of the advanced NSCLC patient who received chemotherapy and radiotherapy in department of oncology in the first affiliated hospital of Chongqing medical university from January 2005 to December 2006. The life span started from the date of initiated therapy , ended in the dead day or the last follow-up date , and the deadline date of follow-up was December 2008. The survival case of the last follow-up day ,the missing case and the dead case for nontumorous was managemented by the method of censored data in statistics.Result: 5 patients were missed and the rate of follow up was 95.1%, the median follow-up time was 35 months. To the deadline, 89 patients died in 102 case, the 1-year,2-year,3-year survival rate were 69.4%,37.7%, 14.0% respectively. The median survival time was 19 months. In single factor analysis, the KPS score, the way of synthetic therapy , operation and clinical staging had the statistics difference on the prognosis(P<0.05); the sex, age, pathological type and chemotherapeutic periodicity had not the statistics significance(P>0.05).In multi-factor analysis, the KPS score, the way of synthetic therapy and clinical staging had the statistics significance on the prognosis(P<0.05);operation had not the statistics significance(P>0.05).Conclusion: The independent-prognosis factor with the survival of advanced NSCLC relates to the KPS score, synthetic therapy way and clinical staging. The operation had some effect on advanced NSCLC,but could not as the independent-prognosis factor.
