The Epidemiological Investigation Of The Perimenopausal Syndrome Among Perimenopausal Women In Changsha Community

Aim:To explore the epidemiological characteristics and relevant factors of perimenopausal syndrome of Community women and to master the state of health of community women in the perimenopause,in order to provide the basis for medical service of the perimenopause women in the community.Method:A stratified cluster sampling method was used to survey with questionnaire 498 perimenopausal women aged 40-55 years in 3 communites of kaifu districts in changsha City.Results:Of a total of 498 individuals,the mean age was 48.58±3.852 years,the average menarche age was 14.44±1.823 years (9-20 years),and the average natural menopause age was 48.99±3.450 years.There is no significant correlation between menarche age and natural menopause age(p＞0.05).The common symptoms of peri-menopausal is decreased sexual desire,dizziness,headache,bone and joint pain,fatigue,easily agitated.The incidence of menopausal syndrome which is significantly associated with age,economic status,diseases,cognition on perimenopause is 67.5%.Conclusion:The incidence of perimenopause syndrome of women in Changsha community is 65.7%.Age,economic status,diseases,cognition on perimenopause are closely related to perimenopause syndrome.Giving the community medical service to perimenopause women is a important measure.
