Objective Explore the influences of malignant renal tumors to renal glomerular filtration rate (GFR) .Materials and methods Look back the 64 patients who got unilateral malignant renal tumors, and went into Shandong Provincial Hospital from 1 January, 2008 to 25 February, 2009. By using single-factor correlation analysis and generalized multiple linear regression analysis, the renal glomerular filtration rate (GFR) of sick side and healthy side kidney, the difference of renal glomerular filtration rate (GFR) between healthy side and sick side kidney and the possible clinical factors are analyzed. All data were dealed with SPSS 13.0.Results By using single-factor correlation analysis and generalized multiple linear regression analysis, the age of patient and the cross-sectional area of the renal tumor are the factors which relate the change of the renal glomerular filtration rate(GFR) of the sick side kidney, the age of patient and whether there is any history of hypertension are the factors which relate the change of the renal glomerular filtration rate (GFR) of the healthy side kidney, the cross-sectional area of the renal tumur is the factor which relates the difference of renal glomerular filtration rate (GFR) between healthy side and sick side kidney. Conclusions Age is the important factor which influences the change of renal glomerular filtration rate (GFR) of the kidney (Both healthy side and sick side) .The cross-sectional area of the renal tumur is the factor which influences the change of renal glomerular filtration rate (GFR) of sick side kidney. The cross-sectional area of the renal tumur is the only factor which influences the difference of renal glomerular filtration rate (GFR) between healthy side and sick side kidney.
