The Clinical And The Experimental Research Of The Treatment On Psoriasis Vulgaris By "Tu Huai Xiao Yin Fang"

Purpose: The treatment of psoriasis with traditional Chinese medicine have advantages of improving pathogenetic condition and protracting disease-free period and little adverse effect. In order to determine its exact efficacy and to explore its therapeutic mechanism, the subject observes the theraputical effect of " Tu Huai Xiao Yin Fang " to psoriasis vulgaris in the active stage and carries out animal experiments.Method: 51 patients are randomly divided into the treatment group(36 patients) and the control group(15 patients). The course of treatment is two months. According to PASI, we make the curative effect observation. In the experiment, 40 BALB/ c mice are divided into the blank group, the model group ,the experimental and the positive control group and given medicine for 20 days. In the 21st',excepting the blank group, the rest of the mice are injected intraperitoneally with 25ug of SEB.After 3 hours, four groups are carried out removal of the eyeball and taken blood,and checked TNF-a level in the serum using double-antibody sandwich ABC-ELISA method. At the same time, four groups are sacrificed and taken mice tail epidermis and made histological sections to count the number of scales existing granular layer in 100 tail epidermis scales.Result: For Tu Huai Xiao Yin Fang, the cure and markedly effective rate is 63.9% and it is significantly higher than that of the positive control group(P<0.05). The experiment demonstrates that the formula has the role of improving the mice tail' parakeratotic epidermic cells(P<0.01). But compared with the control group, the experimental group has not obvious advantage (P>0.05). Meanwhile,experiment indicates that Tu Huai Xiao Yin Fang can antagonize TNF-a increase induced by SEB in mouse's blood(P <0.05).Significance: The research confirm the reliability of the effect of Tu Huai Xiao Yin Fang. It can obtain the effect by adjusting immune and metabolical systems, and restrainting epidermal cell proliferation,and anti-inflammation and antimicrobial or some other way.
