Effect Of Jujing Pill On Sperm DNA Integrity Of Patients With Asthenospermia

Objective:To investigate the effect of Jujing pill on sperm DNA integrity of patients with asthenospermia。Methods:Fifty nine patients of asthenospermia were selected in clinical as the research subjects,and treated with Jujing pill three months by oral。Firstly,sperm DFI(DNA fragementation index) was detected by AO Test,semen routine parameters by CASA,and the results before and after treatment were analyzed。Secondly,all the cases were studied in two groups according to the value of DFI which was bigger or smaller than 10%。Results:Before the treatment,DFI of 59 cases negatively correlated with sperm density,sperm count,sperm motility,sperm viability(p<0.05),and positively correlated with teratospermia rate(p<0.01),but not with semen quantity,pH,liquate time,seminal plasma fructose,alpha-glucosidase and ACP(all the p>0.05)。Before and after three months' treatment,there were significant differences in sperm density,sperm count,sperm motility,sperm viability,teratospermia rate and the DFI(p<0.01),but no significant differences in semen quantity,liquate time,seminal plasma fructose concentration,seminal plasma alpha-glucosidase and ACP(all the p>0.05)。At the same time,there were significant differences in the group of abnormal DFI groups which is(15.02±11.01)%vs(20.44±9.20)%,but no significant differences in the group of normal DFI ones which is(5.86±1.83)%vs(6.09±2.07)%,p=0.581)。Conclusions:The Chinese medicine Jujing pill could elevate the sperm density,sperm count,sperm motility,sperm viability,reduce sperm DFI of asthenospermia and improve the sperm DNA integrity effectively。Tonification in both congenital and postnatal is the key point; Tonifying spleen and invigorate kidney is the main method in treating asthenospermia and sperm DNA damage。...
