Objective: To analyze the quantitative changes of CTGF on hyperplastic scar in the rabbit ear after IPL treatment and investigate the molecular biological mechanisms of hyperplastic scarMethods: The acute model of dermal hyperplastic scar in the rabbit ear was established. which were randomly divided into 2 groups: the experimental group received IPL treatment, and the controlled group received nospecial treatment. Specimens were harvested from scars postoperative 28 day.Result: CTGF expression of treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05), especially, in the early stage.Conclustion: IPL may play a role in inhibiting hyperplastic scars in rabbits ears. It provided a theoretical basis for photorejuvenation through experimental study.
