Objective:To study the clinical effect of GM-1 and cerebrolysin in treating the periventricular leukomalacia of premature infant. Methods:Confirmed patients of periventricular leukomalacia were divided into three groups:the first group (control group) consisted of 27 cases:accepted conventional therapy; the second group (cerebrolysin group), consisted of 31 cases, accepted the treatment of cerebrolysin on the basis of conventional treatment; the third group (GM-1 group) consisted of 28 cases, accepted the treatment of GM-1 on the basis of conventional treatment. Dynamically observe the changes of cranial sonography and NBNA score and follow up. Statistical analysis were performed using Statistical Package of SPSS12.0. Data were analyzed usingχ2 test,One-Way ANOVA test process.P values<0.05 were considered significant. Results:The effective power of GM-I group is better than that of the control group, the difference has statistical significance (p<0.05); the effective power of cerebrolysin group is better than that of the control group, but the difference has no statistical significance.Conclusion:GM-1 is one of the active drugs in treating periventricular leukomalalia and the efficacacy of cerebrolysin is still waiting for farther clinical research.
