ObjectiveTo investigate the expression of VEGF and nm23-H1 in the hepatocellular carcinoma and their effects on hepatocellular carcinoma metastasis for judging the clinical prognosis of patients after tumor resection of a reference index.MethodSpecimen collection:We collecte 84 patients of liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma (hepatocellular carcinoma; HCC) during February 2008~October 2009 at the Hepatobiliary Surgery in First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University Hospital. All specimens with 4% paraformaldehyde and paraffin specimens.Immunohistochemistry (SP method) measured the VEGF and nm23 protein in liver tissue.Results1,The total positive rate of nm23-H1 and VEGF expression is 44.1% (37/84)和71.4%(60/84)2,VEGF positive expression rate of metastasis group was 83.1% (44/53), significantly higher than those without metastas was 51.6%(16/31) 3,nm23-H1 positive expression rate of metastasis group was 32.0%(17/53), significantly lower than those without metastasis was 54.8% (17/31)4,The expression of mm23-H1 as lower as degree of tumor differentiation, but higher expression of VEGF,Ⅳ-class 100%.5,nm23-H1 and VEGF have negative association in HCC metastasis.ConclusionsThe Expression of nm23-Hl in the high degree of differentiation of hepatocellular carcinoma was significantly higher than the low differentiation of tumor tissue, in the absence of metastasis was also significantly higher than in the metastasis group, the difference was statistically significant. The Expression of VEGF in poorly differentiated HCC tissues was significantly higher than the high differentiation of HCC, in the absence of metastasis group was significantly lower than with metastasis, the difference was statistically significant,It suggests that detect the expression of nm23-H1, VEGF in HCC tissue has important reference value on HCC prognosis.
