ForewordArsenic is the International Institute of Oncology (IARC) confirmed human carcinogen, in addition to occupational arsenic exposure and arsenic in drinking water exposed, currently the arsenic in the role of medicine is growing, drug-induced arsenic exposure demage to human body is also growing concern Over the last decade, China scholars in the application of arsenic trioxide for acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), has made remarkable achievements. The metabolism of arsenic trioxide in vivo, the major study in blood and urine in metabolism, the main research of this study is the metabolism of arsenic in the bone marrow and arsenic accumulation in the bone marrow for Provide a reference for clinical treatment.ObjectiveEvaluation of acute promyelocytic leukemia arsenic exposure and exposure time on body and test the significance of arsenic concentration in the bone marrow.MethodsCross-sectional study on 30 acute promyelocytic leukemia patients with arsenic exposure and 15 non-arsenic exposed patients were investigated, using cohort study of 30 exposed persons were exposed to arsenic for more than a year and a half and one and half year, and notexposure group research.Meanwhile, seven patients with bone marrow and blood arsenic concentrations were compared.Using hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry detection of bone marrow in different forms of arsenic metabolites.Result7 cases of patients exposed to arsenic in the bone marrow and blood concentration of contrast (Table 1) bone marrow test showed that the mean arsenic concentration 7.9867E0, standard deviation 1.4948E1; concentration of arsenic in their blood mean 7.9789E0,1.4880E1 standard use paired samples T test, no obvious difference between the two, the difference was not statistically significant (t=0.158, p> 0,05).And exposure for more than a year and a half, exposed within a year and a half, and the control group, use one-way anova LSD-t test method, the pairwise comparison between the group found that exposure to more than one and a half within a year and a half with the exposed group was statistically different Significance (p<0.05), the two exposed groups compared with the control group, differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).ConclusionUse of arsenic trioxide for acute promyelocytic leukemia, arsenic can reach the bone marrow and to slow metabolism; and arsenic metabolism in the bone marrow and blood metabolism of the same; with extended exposure to arsenic concentration interval a downward trend.
