ObjectiveEighty suitable patients who were performed phacoemulsification with intraocular lens were allocated into three groups:thirty patients were implanted Canon KS-3Ai intraocular lens, thirty patients were implanted Sensar intraocular lens, and the rest twenty patients were implanted Rezoom intraocular lens. We observe distant vision, near vision, contrast sensitivity, vision symptom and quality of life, 1D,1W,4W,8W after operation. We focusing on the non-spherical multifocal intraocular lens implantation for long-term clinical efficacy, so as to choose suitable lens for Senile Cataract Patients with Deficiency of the Liver and Kidney.MethodsEighty suitable patients who were performed phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation by the same ophthalmologist were allocated into three groups:thirty patients were implanted Canon KS-3Ai intraocular lens, thirty patients were implanted Sensar intraocular lens, and the rest twenty patients were implanted Rezoom intraocular lens. A day, a week, four weeks, eight weeks after operation, we observe distant vision, near vision, contrast sensitivity, vision symptom and quality of life, After that, all the data would be input into computer to establish database and perform statistical analysis of variance.Results①80 patients were examined at all follow——up visits. No complication was found operatively and postoperatively. No posterior opacification (PCO). No IOL leans after dispersing pupil by silt—amp microscope.②Canon patients:16 males and 14 females; Senar patients:15 males and 15 females; Rezoom patients:16 males and 4 females, three groups of patient's age difference was no statistically significant (F= 2.3000, P> 0.05).③There was no statistical difference (P>0.05) in distant vision between the three groups at 1D,1W,4W,8W after operation. The near vision of the Rezoom intraocular lens group was significantly higher than the other tow groups (P<0.05) at 1D,1W,4W,8W after surgery. There was no statistical difference (P>0.05) in near vision between the Canon groups and the Sensar groups.④In the patients with Rezoom intraocular lens implantation, the contrast sensitivity without or with dazzle light was significantly higher than the other two groups at 1D,1W after surgery (P<0.05), however there was no statistical difference between the three groups at 4W,8W after surgery(P> 0.05), and there was no statistical difference between the Canon group and the sensar group(P> 0.05); simultaneously, In the patients with Rezoom intraocular lens implantation, the redtest was significantly higher than the other two groups at 1D after surgery (P<0.05), however there was no statistical difference between the three groups at 1W,4W,8W after surgery(P>0.05); the dark adaptation time of the three groups, there was no statistical difference between the three groups after surgery (P> 0.05).⑤The patients with senile cataract no matter what kind of intraocular lens implantation could improve the quality of life visual function, quality of life scale (VF-QOL) score is no significant difference between the Canon group and Rezoom group after surgery (P> 0.05), the sensar group is the worst (P<0.05).ConclusionThe study indicated that phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation could improve the quality of life of the patients, no matter which sort of intraocular lens were implanted. However, the patients with multifocal intraocular lens implantation could get better near vision, but ineluctably obtain lower contrast sensitivity; the patients with aspheric intraocular lens implantation could gain better contrast sensitivity, and further to ameliorate visual quality of life and avoid negative syndrome of glare, halation and low vision at night. In conclusion, we could select the various intraocular lens according to different requirement of patients.
