Insomnia seriously affect people's physical and mental health. The face of rapidly rising prevalence of insomnia status, the treatment of insomnia, more and more attention. Therefore, the search for convenient and effective, non-toxic side effects treatment for clinical research focus.ObjectiveWarm acupuncture treatment of spleen deficiency type insomnia, with Athens Insomnia Scale, sleep rate and deficiency symptom score sheet on sleep before and after treatment in patients, assessed by observing changes in the rate of warm acupuncture to judge feasibility for the treatment and to provide accurate and effective method and provide the necessary clinical basis.MethodsLook up relevant literature from domestic and abroad, and study particularly the pathogenesis of insomnia in Traditional Chinese Medicine and western Medicine. All the cases in the trial were from the Acupuncture Department of Foshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.60 cases met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Based on the theory,30 cases were treated by warm acupuncture treatment, and the control group to the general acupuncture therapy. Patients were observed before and after 2 courses treatment by Athens Insomnia Scale, sleep rate and deficiency symptom score sheet on sleep. We use SPSS17.0 statistics package for statistical analysis. Before and after treatment were compared with paired t-test single-sample normal distribution of measurement data and compared the overall mean single-sample t test, non-normal distribution measurement data, using rank sum test, count data using chi-square (X2) test, grade information by Ratio test. The results were statistically processed, integrated assessment of efficacy.ResultsThere are 2 clinical convalesces examples,16 shows results examples,8 effective examples and 2 invalid examples in treatment group, while no clinical convalesces example,6 shows results examples,13 effective examples and 9 invalid examples in the control group。Two groups of curative effect comparisons demonstrated that total effectiveness of the treatment group is 92.86%and the control group is 67.86%. Two groups was significant difference (P<0.05). In the Athens insomnia scale score, sleep rate and deficiency symptoms scale score were significant differences between areas (P<0.05). Follow-up in two months, compared two groups of recurrence P> 0.05, no significant difference.ConclusionsResults confirm that effect of warm acupuncture on treating insomnia with spleen deficiency syndrome is significantly improved. Warm acupuncture can be used in clinical treatment of insomnia and to improve the spleen deficiency physical conditioning.
