BackgroudHyperlipidemias, because of the lipid metabolism, is one of common clinical diseases. It concules over leve of TC and TG or low leve of HDL-c in blood. It is one of important risk factors which causes arteriosclorosis cardia-cerebrovascular disease. It is closely related to Hypertension, Coronary Heart Disease, Cerebrovascular Disease. The more ageing population develop, the more hyperlipidemias happens. So physical examination, prevention, regulation is important sanitary strategy from now on. At present, the major hyperlipidemias therapy is drugs. Thought its effect is positive and its development is fast, its expensive cost and side effect are also limit to its extension. Therefore, no-drug therapy is popular treatment for hyperlipidemias. Acupuncture, one of Chinese Traditional Therapy, is popular to patients with easy operation, effective treatment, little adverse reaction.ObjectivesThis reseach aims to treat hyperlipidemias patients with phlegmdampness due to Spleen Deficiency in different groups, using the Warm Needling Therapy. Oberseve the change of TG, TC, HDL-c, LDL-c and syndromes after the treatments. Make group comparisons and own controlled comparisons. Finally, evaluate the therapeutic efficacy according to these results.MethodsPatients that meet the diagnostic criteria and adopting norm were divided into two groups voluntarily:the treatment group and the control group. Based on the random digits table, the former was divided into GroupA(treating with warm-needling) and Group B(treating with galvano-acupuncture). Totally there were 30 cases in Group A,30 cases in Group B. Group A and Group B were given treatments once per day, each time about 30 min. Every ten days formed an course of treatment, and each course was an observation period. the Chinese herbal medicine new medicine clinic research guideline was used as the indicators of the clinical effect. The whole therapy lasted for one course of treatment. Data was recorded and analyzed at the end of each course. SPSS17.0 was used for statistical analysis.Result1 After a course of treatment, significant differences in therapeutic efficacy was found among two groups. The result of treatment group is 90%. The control group is 83.3%. They were statistically significant (P<0.05). The change of Warm-needling for TC, HDL-c was statistically significant (P< 0.05), and for TG was statistically significant (P<0.001). The change of galvano-acupuncture for TC, TG was statistically significant (P< 0.05). But the change of galvano-acupuncture for HDL-c was no statistically significant difference (P> 0.05). In addition, the difference of TG, HDL-c, TC between the two groups was warm-needling therapy better than galvano-acupuncture. But the difference of LDL-c between the two groups was no statistically significant(P > 0.05).2 On the aspect of syndrome improvement, the effective rate of Group warm-needling was 83.3% and Group galvano-acup6uncture was 76.6%. Warm-needling was better for cold, anorexia. Another way, galvano-acupuncture was better for abdominal distention, dropsy and insomnia.3 During the whole courses of therapy, there were not any side-effects, neopathys or sequelas caused by warm-needling and galvano-acupuncture.Conclusion1 After the whole therapy, the total therapeutic efficacy could be shown as Group A (with warming treatment)>Group B(with galvano-acupuncture treatment). But they were no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).2 After the reseach, we will find the better therapy for different syndromes in clinic.3 Concerning non side-effects, it is testified that warm-needling and galvano-acupuncture are brand new save and effective method for hyperlipidemias.
