Objective:To explore the expression level and the activation of gene P16 and CDK4 in human lung non-small-cell-carcinoma tissue.Respectively, analyzing the relationship between P16,CDK4 and growth, differentiation, apoptosis of NSCLC,investigating the impacts on the expressions of P16,CDK4 and their biological implication. To further investigate the potential action mechanism of P16,CDK4 and to provide a new laboratory evidence and theoretic basis for better treatment of human NSCLC.Methods:The expression of P16,CDK4 protein in 35 cases of lung non-small-cell-carcinoma tissue and 12 cases of normal lung tissue was detected using immunohisto-chemistry method(streptavidin-perosidase).Results:The expression rate of P16 in human lung non-small-cell-carcinoma tissue was 45%(16/35); The expression rate of CDK4 in human lung non-small-cell-carcinoma tissue was 91.4%(32/35) expression was significantly related to lymph node metastasis, but not related to gender, age and the size of tumors.Conclusion:P16,CDK4 subunit in lung tissue showed the expression of a state of sustained activation may participate in and contribute to the proliferation of non-small-cell-carcinoma cells. P16,CDK4 subunit gene expression may be associated with the occurrence of human NSCLC development.
