The statistics being in progress to observed result analyses , reveals TICL operation curative effect and risk.Result Six months after operation,rest astigmatism were (0~2.5)D,mean(0.778±0.674)D. The astigmatism change is within 0.5D in 2 years.The UCVA of 95% eyes and the BCVA of 99% eyes were same or better than the pre-operative BCVA. Twelve months after operation,2% of the TICL were above 30 degrees of the intended axis and 96% of the TICL were under 15 degrees of the intended axis. 7 eyes had increased introcular pressure shortly after surgery and after treatment the intraocular pressure become normal in 1 week.2 eyes of 1 patient never became normal. Dazzling sensation occurred in 2 eyes(one case).No severe complications including cataract or glaucoma occurred. Conclusion TICL allow patients the better UCVA,good rotational stability and predictability in the correction of astigmatism.TICL implantation should be carefully selected.
