Effects Of HuaYuTongluo Soup On Expression Of VEGF And Relationship On Angiogensis In MCAO Rats

Objective:To observe the effects of HuaYuTongLuo Soup on the basis of the theroy of Collateral disease on neuroprotective,VEGF expression and angiogenesis after cerebral infarction in rats.Method:52 SD rats were randomly divided into two groups:model group(A) and medical group(B). The middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) model was made by the Koizumi's suture method. Group B were given by gavage with HuaYuTongLuo (1.5ml/100g/d) for 7d to 14d. While the other group were given by gavage with water. The neurological deficit assessments, VEGF expression and angiogenesis were measured in the boundary zone to brain infarction at 7d and 14d.Results:(1)The level of neurological disorder:There was no significant difference between group A and group B at 7d; compared with group A, the neurological deficiency were alleviated in group B in 14d, which showed significant differences(P<0.05).(2)The structure of Hippocampal neural cell in group B were better than group A.(3)The expression of VEGF:the expression of VEGF were higher in group B than group A at each time point, The statistics analysis:P<0.01.(4)The microvascular expression of CD34 were:group B had higher expression compared with group A at 7d and 14d. There was significant differences between group A and B (P<0.01).Conclusion:It was found that HuaYuTongLuo Soup can alleviate the neurological deficiency of MCAO rats, promote the expression of VEGF to stimulate the microvascular proliferation.
