gastric cancer is one of the highest incidence of cancer in worldwide, which is the second common cancer in China. There are about 900,000 new cases of gastric cancer in the world every year, At the same time,70 million people died of stomach cancer. The overall 5-year survival rate of gastric cancer is about 20%, The incidence of men is 1.5 to 2.5 times more than the women. The incidence of gastric cancer significantly increases with age, the peak incidence in age from 50 to 80 years old. Therefore, early examination, early diagnosis and early treatment is the one of key means in reducing gastric cancer mortality. Now, the diagnosis of gastric cancer is mainly rely on the endoscopy and biopsy specimens's pathological examination obtained by endoscopic, However, the pathological examination will spend of a longer period, which is also increased the medical costs. Therefore, find a more simple and accurate inspection methods are also very important. Raman spectroscopy is one of the available optical technologies, The malignant tissues and cells are always from the their molecular composition, in the malignan process of tissues and cells, the types of chemicals that composite of various biological cell and tissue will to change in quantity, structure, conformation and the existence of the state, due to The vibrational spectroscopy methods can be reflected the structure of matter and changes at the molecular level, By tracking the organization malignant changes in the molecular level to become the early diagnosis of tumors new methods. At present, some scholars have carried out spectral studie in the lung cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer and breast cancer, Also confirmed that the cancerous tissue and normal tissue have the differences in the spectral performance, On this basis, we will to do further research on the difference in the gastric cancer.gastric precancerous lesions and chronic gastritis organizations. Objective:The use of Raman spectroscopy in patients with gastric cancer, precancerous lesions and chronic gastritis organizations have carried out Raman spectroscopy detection, obtained gastric cancer, gastric precancerous lesions and chronic gastritis tissues of different spectral. Methods:removed the gastric cancer, precancerous lesions and chronic gastritis tissue samples from the refrigerator, post-thaw at room temperature on the stage to collect Raman spectra of the sample. He-Ne laser power of 1mW, scanning time for 20S, scan range 20-3000cm-1, instrument resolution of lcm-1. Results:Raman peaks were found in 483cm-1,2447cm-1 spectral region of gastric. However, in precancerous lesions and chronic gastritis, no one peak were found. And the fluorescence intensity of the gastric less than precancerous lesions and chronic gastritis tissues. Conclusion:Raman spectroscopy can be achieved diagnosis in gastric cancer.
