The riboflavin play an important role in the chain of respiratory and organism metabolic as a flavin nucleotide.Lacking riboflavin may cause stomach troubles, and eyes, liver and nerve dysfunction, cause some dermatitis, versually impaired, fatigue and even unable to work, and even lead to bone abnormalities. Riboflavin is an integral parts of human metabolism. It is found that there are more than 160 kinds of enzymes containing riboflavin, most of which participate in biological oxidation and the metabolism of respiratory chain. Therefore, to establish a simple and quick analytical method, which is high selectivity and sensitivity, is very important.Uric acid(UA) is the final product of the process of purine nucleotide catabolism. The change of the content in body fluids can fully reflect the body immunity, metabolism, and other functions of the state. Therefore, the quantitative analysis of UA in body fluids has an important significance in clinical diagnosis and drug control. This paper will discuss in the following four chapters in detail:In this paper, the following there chapters will be discussed in detail:Chapter 1 IntroductionRiboflavin and reviewed the nature and biological role of uric acid, the study pointed out the importance of riboflavin and uric acid, riboflavin and reviewed the research progress of uric acidChapter 2 Cyclic Voltametric Properties of Riboflavin and its BioactivitiesChanges of cyclic voltametric properties of Riboflavin (RF) has been studied when the solutions exposured to the light and added reduced glutathione(GSH) with different adicities. RF showed two step redox reactions at the nitrogen double bond through protinization in the highly acidic solution. Two step redox reaction of RF solution was also observed after lignth exposure of the solution..In the mixture solutions of RF and GSH, relatively lower concentration of GSH might enhance two step redox reactions at nitrogen double bonds of RF and relatively higher concentration of GSH inhibit redox reactions at the both site of nitrogen double bonds of RF. The redox reaction mechanism and related bioacitivities has also been investigated.Chapter 3 Determination of uric acid cyclic voltammetry study of uric acidThe change of uric acid content in the urine have been investigated using clinic urine sumples sufferring from kidney failure and diabetis during the hospital treatment. The concentrations of uric acid in the urine sufferring form kidney prolbems and diabitesis are significanly low as compared to the healthy person's. Cyclic voltammetric and UV-Vis spectrometric analysis methods have been used to qunatitative determination UA. ES-Mass spectrometric determination of urine sample indicated that both uric acid and sodium uricate form present in the urine and only ascorbate and sodium ascorbate present in the urine. The ascorbate dosen't interfer the determination of UA during cyclic voltammetric determination of UA。Cyclic voltammetric determination of UA in the urine sample is accurate and simple for sample treatment and therfore, is fast and robust analytical method of uric acid determination for urine sample.Chapter4 The study of electrochemical analysis method for determination of uric acid content in the urine disease-specificDetermination of four kinds of disease respectively, which are renal failure, diabetes, diabetic renal failure and bladder cancer, by cyclic voltammetry, conforms a close relationship between the change of uric acid content in urine and the disease.
