A New Lower Blepharoplasty Method By Transplanting The Orbital Fat To Fill The Lid Furrow Depression

Objective:To explore a new lower blepharoplasty method by transplanting the orbital fat to fill the lid furrow depression.Methods:Separate the orbicularis from the orbital septum, remove the herniated fat from orbital septum. After folding and strengthening the orbital septum, transplant the orbital fat outside orbital septum to the lid furrow depression.Results:From March,2007 to February,2009,135 patients were improved by this operation, the fat transplanted has a high survival rate, the figuration of inferior eyelid is plump and has no obvious depression at lid furrow.Conclusion:This operation is a kind of ideal technique to treat under-eye puffiness.It has extensive application, especially is fit for the patients who have lid furrow depression.
