Objective To observe neuropsychological test and to analyze 18F-FDG PET figures in patients with Parkinson disease dementia.Methods(1)Montreal Cognitive Assessment was performed in 10 healthy contrlos,10 patients with Parkinson disease(PD) and 10 patients with Parkinson disease dementia (PDD). The results were analyzed between PDD and healthy controls.(2) All the subjects were performed PET-CT in caudate nucleus, lenticular nucleus, thalamus, frontal lobe, top lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe respectively, after injection of 18F-FDG. radiocounts ratio in unit area to cerebellum (rcl/cb) was recorded and analyzed between groups. Results (1) MoCA score in PDD group was lower than it was in healthy controls, especially in the following aspects: visuospatial skills, execution function ,attetion, language(repeat and fluency), and abstract thought. (2) 18F-FDG PET cerebral metabolism visualization, macroscopic observation:a symmetrical cerebral metabolism visualization was observed in cerebrum, caudate nucleus, lenticular nucleus, thalamus in healthy controls, the cerebral metabolism visualization in cerebrum, caudate nucleus, lenticular nucleus, thalamus in PDND group was asymmetry slight lower than it was in healthy controls , meanwhile the cerebral metabolism visualization in cerebrum, caudate nucleus, lenticular nucleus, thalamus in PDD group was asymmetry significant lower than it was in healthy controls. Semiquantitative analytic result : the cerebral metabolism radioactive counting in left frontal lobe, left temporal lobe, left parietal lobe in PDD group was significant lower than it was in healthy controls(P<0.01). the cerebral metabolism radioactive counting in right frontal lobe, right parietal lobe in PDD group was significant lower than it was in healthy controls(P<0.01).Correlation analysis showed that rcl/cb of 18F-FDG PET in PDD group with frontal lobe and parietal lobe was related to the MoCA scores. Conclusions More impaired cognitive domains were observed in PDD group, especially visuospatial skills, executing skills,attention,lan- guage and abstract thinking. 18F-FDG PET may provide helpful evidence for PDD diagnosis.
