ObjectiveTo evaluate the avastin intravitreal injection of green laser treatment of ischemic central retinal vein occlusion induced macular edema therapy.Methodsfor October 2008 to October 2009 24 patients 26 were admitted based on fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) results, was diagnosed with ischemic central retinal vein occlusion and associated with macular edema,who were randomly divided into avastin intravitreal injection of green laser treatment group and control group laser treatment alone, followed for 6 months, follow-up visual acuity, intraocular pressure, eye condition, parallel fundus photographs, fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography (OCT).ResultsOCT examination in 14 patients on average macular thickness technique (CFT) before surgery to 584.36±114.76um, macular edema after 1 month for the 11 eyes, 79% regression rate,3 months after macular edema 11 eyes,79% regression rate,6 months after macular edema in 10 eyes,71% regression rate。The control group preoperative OCT showed foveal thickness of 450-748μm (mean 599μm), OCT 1 month after surgery showed macular edema is 4, regression rate was 33%, After 3 months to 4 macular edema eye, fade rate of 33%,6 months after macular edema is 3 eyes,25% regression rate。(Faded:OCT macular retinal thickness proved to reduce the more than 100μm; unchanged:OCT macular retinal thickness proved to reduce less than 100μm)。1 month after the experimental group,12 patients with 14 eyes of 12 eyes visual acuity improved, increase rate of 86%, two visual acuity remained unchanged. Control group included 12 eyes with 4 eyes, visual acuity improved, increase the rate of 33%, no change in 5 eyes,3 eyes and decreased vision. Visual acuity test group was significantly higher (χ2-7.490, P= 0.006, Fisher exact test)。3 months after surgery, the experimental group 12 patients,14 eyes with visual acuity increased in 11 eyes, 79% increase,3 no change in visual acuity. Control group included 12 eyes with 4 eyes, visual acuity improved, increase the rate of 33%, no change in 5 eyes,3 eyes and decreased vision. Visual acuity test were significantly higher than control] group(χ2= 5.418, P= 0.02, Fisher exact test)。After 6 months the experimental group,12 patients with 14 eyes of 10 eyes visual acuity improved, increase the rate of 71%,4 visual acuity remained unchanged. Control group included 12 eyes with visual acuity in 3 eyes improved, increase the rate of 25%, unchanged vision in 4 eyes,5 eyes decreased vision. Visual acuity test group was significantly higher (χ2= 5.571, P= 0.018, Fisher exact test). (Visual acuity improved two lines is to increase,1 in the wave is unchanged, down a row as unchanged.) There were no elevation of intraocular pressure by. The data were statistically significant。Conclusionavastin intravitreal injection of green laser treatment of ischemic macular edema in central retinal vein occlusion in a short period of time more than laser treatment of ischemic central retinal vein occlusion, and more effective to improve visual acuity, promote the absorption of macular edema.
