The Clinical Research Of Adhesive Intestinal Obstruction In Phases With Integrative Medicine Treatment

Objective:To study the outcome and program of adhesive intestinal obstruction in phases with integrative medicine treatment, and to investigate its mechanism.Methods:According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,33patients with adhesive intestinal obstruction who underwent on the basis of western conventional treatment between March 2008 and October 2009 were included in this study.We used chinese medicine including tongfu mixture which was injected by gastric tube or enema,umbilical compressing and acupuncture when the adhesive intestinal obstruction was attacked.and fuzhengxiaodao mixture was applied after adhesive intestinal obstruction was alleviated.Results:All the symptoms including abdominal pain and bloating 16.25±6.34h,exhaust 31.92±8.12h, defecation 38.97±7.80h of 29 cases (88%)were rlieved after 1-3 days with integrative medicine treatment; 4 cases (12%)were treated by surgical excision,and all cases were cured with integrative medicine treatment after operative.There was no recurrence after 6-12months'follow-up.Conclusions:Adhesive intestinal obstruction in phases with integrative medicine treatment can be effective on intestinal obstruction, and reduce the opportunities of relapse.
