This dissertation is composed of three chapters. The first chapter showed the isolation and identification of all kinds of compounds from Sedum aizoon and Euphorbia humifusa by bioassay guide. Twenty-three compounds were isolated and thirteen compounds were identified. The second chapter reportedα-glucosidase inhibitory activity , antioxidant and antibacterial action in vitro of extracts from S. aizoon and E. humifusa. In the last chapter, the study progress of chemical constituent, pharmaceutical and ecological value of the Euphorbia L. were summarized.1. Study on the chemical constituents of S. aizoon and E. humifusaSedum aizoon belongs to Crassulaceae and Sedum family, and three compounds were isolated from ethyl acetate extract and two compounds were identified. Eight compounds were isolated from n-butanol extracts and four of which were identified.Euphorbia humifusa belongs to Euphorbiaceae and Euphorbia L. family, and four compounds were isolated from ethyl acetate extract and four compounds were identified. Eight compounds were isolated from n-butanol extracts and three of which were identified.2.Study on biological activity of S. aizoon and E. humifusa.ⅰFor the first time, we assayed the inhibitory effect againstα-glucosidase of different solvent extracts and several compounds from S. aizoon and E. humifusa. in a 96-well plate. Petroleum ether, ethyl acetate , n-butanol and total methanol extracts from S. aizoon and Petroleum ether, ethyl acetate , n-butanol extracts from E. humifusa showed strong inhibitory effect against a-glucosidase.ⅱThe antioxidant activities of different solvent extracts of S. aizoon and E. humifusa were evaluated by the DPPH, ABTS and FRAP assay comprehensively. We showed that ethyl acetate , n-butanol and total methanol extracts from S. aizoon and ethyl acetate , n-butanol extracts from E. humifusa showed a better antioxidant activities.ⅲWe studied the antibacterial activities of different extracts from S. aizoon and E. humifusa for the first time.Through antibacterial activities of different extracts from S. aizoon and E. humifusa against SA,MRSA,ESBLs-SA, we found E. humifusa had a better antibacterial activities than S. aizoon ,and the antibacterial activities mainly in the petroleum ether extracts.3. The study progress of Euphorbia L.The study progress of chemical constituent, pharmaceutical and ecological value of the genus Euphorbia L. were summarized.
